Talks take place roughly every other Thursday, 14:15--15:15, in SR 318. The password to enter the (virtual) room may be obtained on request via e-mail from the organizer. You may choose your own username anew every time you enter the room.

Talks are, by default, given as a purely virtual presentation via the BigBlueButton software. Neither corresponding personal meetings nor recordings are planned, and no blackboards are available. Talks should last roughly one hour, ideally sparking lots of questions already during the talk.

Speakers are encouraged to include about three little exercises -- even if they boil down to applying the definition, just not counting the kind where you don't have the time to do some tedious computation and then state it as exercise -- for the audience to engage with in the days after the talk, and to offer some kind of virtual office hour for the purpose of discussing further questions (or even just solving the exercises in the group). However, even once you have committed to giving a talk, this second part is still optional and subject to your time constraints. A canonical date for this would be the Thursday after the talk, same time and place. But speakers will decide and announce this individually, in particular those for whom the suggested day would be a holiday.
